Blessed Carlo Acutis was 15 yrs. old when he died, on Oct. 12, 2002, from a rare and painful form of leukemia. He lived with his family in Milan, Italy, and was widely known as an internet genius. His most famous work included online cataloging and documentation of approved Eucharistic miracles and Marian apparitions. Carlo never wasted his suffering: he said “I offer all the suffering I will have to suffer for the Lord, for the Pope, and the Church.” His body has been entombed in Assisi, at his request, because of his love for St. Francis. Blessed Carlo is a saint for our time and a most significant role model for Catholic youth.
